We had hoped to stay a second night at the Harvest Host. The cinema parking lot was huge and used by the brewery for parking. But the cinema owner made us move along. We tried to stay at the brewery but it was noisy. This place we found just a mile away was quiet. There was a nature area nearby and running and biking trails. They had a pump for bike tires and attachments for every kind of bike. Even wrenches. I took Tad for a nice walk before we headed to the place of Lincoln's tomb.

We crossed the Mississippi River into Missouri.
In Hannibal, MO we visited the Mark Twain museum. We got to see where he spent a lot of time and where he got the inspiration for Huckleberry Finn. Becky Thatcher stuff had me standing and posing for photos.
In addition to it being No Kings Day tomorrow, a Folklife Festival is in full swing. Obviously no shortage of things to do.

Our Harvest Host site was west of town at a distillery. It was next to the highway and noisy. But it was safe and the people were great.
It doesn't seem to bother Comet to keep on traveling.
