The Boys had a blast playing in the fields. We listened to music, caught up on a couple things for Umpqua Watersheds and played Rummy Cube. The weather was perfect, with a light breeze. We sat outside all afternoon and are still outside, listening to nightfall approaching. There are two other rigs here tonight. Ryan and Nick have been friends since Kindergarten, 50 years ago! Ryan is preparing to move with his wife to Montana and Nick and his wife are traveling with them in their camper. Really nice people.

Day 2: Boardman, Oregon to Post Falls, Idaho - 215 miles
It was a short travel day for us today. After a busy summer and a really busy last couple weeks getting ready for the trip we planned a couple of shorter days so we could charge our batteries. Generally, we will average 4-5 hours driving daily so we will have time to set up camp and explore the area. Tonight we are staying at another free campsite through Harvest Hosts, Panhandle Red, a leather goods and gift shop on a beautiful small farm about 5 miles from Post Falls. The owners, a young couple, Justin and Kristina aka Panhandle Red, couldn't be better hosts.
