A wonderful temperature even with the wind and we stayed up on the upper patio to enjoy the views. Breakfast cooking up there was put of the question so we ate pastries and fruit. At times the wind blew so hard I thought it would topple the furniture. The rugs would have floated away if the furniture was not on top of them. There was not enough wind to carry away that giant table slab. After a while we retired to the downstairs for cover.
We planned for the next day: snorkeling and diving (for Rob). Leo would be our contact. Rob had to retrieve his certification online but all was in place.
The lots next to The Last Place are.for sale so I looked it up. Probably 2 to 3 acres for 790K. I found an old photo of what it looked like before Kim and Randy bought this place and before all the improvements.
Later I learned a lesson on the properties of olive oil. We were set to deep fry the shrimp. Kasey and Diana shelled the shrimp. We don't have a deep fryer at home and I was never hired by one of those fast food joints and I haven't used the deepfryer at rhe place by myself. The oil got a little hot smoked and caught fire. We extinguished it and decided to sauté the shrimp instead. Jenny is allergic to shellfish so we had to keep everything separate. She prepared fish and vegetables downstairs.
It was a lovely dinner to cap the night.
