Day 11 Playa Santispac: A Perfect Day in Baja March 14

Some places have a way of making time slow down, inviting you to soak in every moment. Playa Santispac is one of those places. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty of Bahía Concepción—the soft lapping of the waves, the warm breeze, and the endless stretch of seashells scattered across the sand like tiny treasures.

We spent the afternoon walking the beach with Lincoln and Tad, marveling at the sheer number of shells beneath our feet. Each step revealed new shapes, colors, and patterns, a reminder of the ocean’s endless creativity. As we walked, we watched dolphins playing just offshore, their sleek bodies leaping through the water, while pelicans made their dramatic dives for fish, slicing into the waves with precision.

As the sun dipped lower in the sky, we hopped on our electric horses—our Aventon Adventure 2 bikes—and rode along the coastline to Armando’s, a little slice of Baja paradise. The ride itself was pure joy, the cool evening air on our faces as we took in the golden hues of the landscape. Armando’s did not disappoint. The coconut shrimp was perfectly crispy, pairing beautifully with a refreshing margarita. It was the kind of meal that tastes even better when surrounded by good company, salty air, and the sound of gentle waves in the distance.

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love this journey. The beauty, the adventure, the simple pleasures, and—above all—the gratitude we feel for this life.
