We got to La Paz and easily found our campground. The camp host were very nice. The RV Campground is very large with a lot of amenities. We are comfortable here but a smaller space with less people is more our speed but we are near a large town than we have been in so far so that comes with the territory.
We met a couple from Germany who now live in La Paz permanently. Herman and Giselle love Irish Setters and lost their last of 4 they had had last year. They travel in a two-story German RV that looks like it should have some gun turrets on it. Herman really wants another Irish Setter but Giselle says no as the are 80 now.
We traveled to the Malecon (sea walk) in La Paz. It was so full of light and laughter. Kids flocked to see the Boys and teenage Boys wanted to take pictures of them.
I told them "Nuestros perros son setters irlandeses. Tad tiene 3 años y Lincoln tiene 12 años y ambos son muy amigables y aman a los niños."
"Our dogs are Irish Setters. Tad is 3 years old and Lincoln is 12 years old and both of them are very friendly and love kids."
Janice tracked down one of the few places in Baha that has IPA beer. We had pizza and beer and both were good but not up to the extremely high standards we have at home. Umpqua beer, Old Soul Pizza and Salud tacos et al are better than anything we have consumed, but that is no surprise.
We chatted with a young man named Antonio who lives in La Paz. Coincidencently, he is a Minnesota Vikings fan so we became fast friends. The barkeeps, Luis and Simone were very nice and we talked to them a lot as we were the customers in the small brewpub.
La Paz is a very quaint but laid back town. We strolled the small street after struggling to find a parking spot. We ended up parking in a free lot. It is a magical place.
